random distance run, I want to be in you

Still totally fascinated with Random Distance Run. It sounds so rad, and I want to play. What could possibly be better than a race where you don't know how long it's going to be until it's (on average) half over?

CMU people, any idea about when the 2012 edition is going to be?

Perhaps we at IU could come up with our own ludicrous athletic event that gradstudents can do? Little 500 and Little Fifty are only for undergrads, Breaking Away to the contrary.
