proposal proposed

I have now proposed my thesis proposal.
The presentation went really smoothly!
Advisor Mike gave me some really good advice: he told me to go around to all of my committee members and talk with them about what I'm doing before the actual proposal presentation, to understand any concerns that anybody might have. I did exactly that!
Everybody was really nice about the whole thing: they seem fairly enthusiastic about the idea, and now I just have to do it.
So, uh: watch for doctorate.
