headed to the Bay! (as one does)

Hwæt, here's the thing. Lindsey and I are going to move to Sunnyvale pretty soon! Like in two weeks.

We're not done with our dissertations yet. To be totally honest, I'm kind of freaking out about how much stuff I have to do still; I think she's both further along and has a better support structure for this.

But we'll have some time in California before our jobs start to get our stuff done.

We got a really lovely house close to downtown Sunnyvale, and it's totally bikeable to both of our jobs, right next to a little park (with a Lawn Bowling field? ...), and there's a nice bay window for the cats to sit in! And a little yard! Maybe we can put a hot tub in the back...

We went on a house-hunting trip a couple of weeks ago to look at a bunch of places, and I think it's safe to say that this place is the best combination of house and location.

I do hope you'll come party with us there :D
