Last night, it became clear that I'd forgotten what a busy signal sounded like. I totally failed to recognize it, and found myself surprised when an in-use phone line didn't go through to callwaiting or voicemail. "What's that noise? ..." ... Miriam had to confirm what it was.

Also! Strick is sitting at the next desk over this week. I feel pretty special.
