There comes a time in one's culinary development, when you come to understand there are things that would not be better with hummus.
I haven't reached that point with guacamole yet.
On a related note: I have the impression (AmericanCulturalAssumption) that many of our parents grew up eating neither hummus nor guacamole. And that there weren't Thai restaurants all over the place? There are some benefits to being alive right now.
