Reach, Motivate, Inspire!

So, let it be known that I'm all for reaching, motivating and inspiring the students.

I find this picture pretty bizarre, though! It's from a newsletter for instructors, "Faculty Focus", from the widely esteemed Magna Publications. I spent a few minutes tweaking the colors with The Gimp and JES, but I couldn't make it much kitschier than it already was. But! You're probably more artistically inclined than I am!

Maybe it wants to be redone more realistically? If you have any ideas, would you post them in comments?

Pic is from a Burger King commercial where a guy is worried that the Whopper will make his "tiny hands" look "even tinnier". The dude's right hand in your picture appears oddly small to me.
