do you follow maddy myers on twitter, or her writing otherwise? she writes a bunch about fighting games community/gender stuff, e.g. this article.

On looking at that article, my immediate thought is "oh geez, is our local fight night *that bad*? ..." ... I don't think it's quite that bad. There are a handful of women around...
