coupla wins :)

While I still have three tests tomorrow, and perhaps not enough studying has been done for them yet...

Tonight, I have:

- Put up a new content-management doohickey for hackmode -- so now you can go there and answer polls and make comments and submit stories and all sorts of slashdot-y things. See, we had to be more like WCDN and the-room. That, and I wanted to play around with mysql and php and whatnot a bit :)

- Written a min-conflicts solution to n-queens problem... if you're so inclined, click here to take a look. It's very nice, quite fast...

... and I'm saying that doing that counted as studying for the AI test tomorrow. And there's still a lot of probstat to look at. Oy vey.

Ah well. I'm having fun :)

I like the site. It certainly knocks the socks off mine.

Well, I didn't build it -- it's pretty much geeklog (http://www.geeklog.net) right out of the box.

You wrote all of your own code for WCDN, didn't you? Yours has more panache...

Well for some of the HTML I used Adobe GoLive because to make the page scaleable (meaning resizable for different screen resolutions), everything had to be in tables. And really small table details are much easier to do with an editor than in text.

But still, the goal was to make a site that's just as good as others that are "out of the box," and I think I've fallen a little short. And I feel bad because there are all these ideas I have to change my site up and I've been to busy/lazy to get to it.

Maybe during the break...

...but probably not.

HEY! I was told by an unnamed informant, Corey, that the goal of GeekLog is to rise up and crush willclarke.net and all she stands for! Nifty Stuff by Nifty People indeed... Well, let it be known, WCDN will not by bullied by some geeky copycat website! It is the most important website... EVER!
