"You think you're tired now..."

Here's a little dialogue from the CoC Commons (which, incidentally, is currently packed -- and so are the labs).
The scene: I'm sitting at a table, it's about 9pm, and I'm clearly talking to somebody and working on something.
2130 student: Hey, can I ask a question?
me: *looks directly at him* No.
student: *hands me some papers* So, my problem is...
me: See, I said that you couldn't ask a question...
student: *continues describing the issue with his homework*
me: I'm working on something. I'm not being a TA right now.
student: See, for homework 10, it says to process the command-line the same way as in homework 9, and this confuses me, because <paraphrase>apparently I don't understand "do the same thing"...</paraphrase>
... I answered his question. I wasn't planning on not helping him, but the point that I don't /always/ have to be doing the TA thing seemed totally lost. Not so much as a "hey, if you're not too busy, could you help me with this?" Insensitive clod!! *fumes* *gets over it*
Okay, actually, I mostly think it was amusing.
So much code to write between now and the end of next week. It'll be exciting.
