And he was thusly flushed with them. Really, Marteen, if anyone cared enough they would have put up a buffer between him and the puns.

I don't mean to question to the judgment of others, but it seems like, in general, puns might drain the innocents of their youth (imagine, if you will, nubile young dia and Adonis-like gfig swirling ignorantly toward their murky, septic doom). A life devoid of these verbal gargoyles might serve as a stopper for the evil corruption of the world and a fitting sail for the waters of life.
