alexr_rwx- We cooked! Jacquie and I totally made a tasty veggie lasagne and a carrot cake. Super-deliciousness ensued, hoorays! She did most of the conceptual work. And most of the actual work. I chopped some vegetables and sprinkled some cheese.
- I'm pretty sick. I've been wheezing and rasping all day, trying to avoid coughing on people... it underscores how rarely this happens, though (maybe once a year), so that's pretty awesome. Yay for being mostly-healthy. Jacquie is, again, super-patient with me... and she seems to have the majority of OTC cold remedies on the market tucked away in her Mary-Poppins bag...
- *sighs* Not everybody uses LATEX. I put Word on the mac-laptop today. Put that on the list of software I didn't expect to be using next to "Windows" and "Eclipse" (although Eclipse sucks much less than I thought it would -- although although there's (totally bizarrely) no immediately obvious way to set it to a sane color scheme like "colorful text on a black background" -- any dark-background people out there use Eclipse?). There's some good software out there, but so much crap. So much crap. Things just don't need to be developed with calls to Internet Explorer, grumble grumble.
