Many things going on today... I did classes, in which there was an interesting exercise in group communication in Practicum. Part of what makes this interesting is that it was an exercise in group communication /and/ interesting at the same time. We were supposed to figure out some specific things about farmers, given little bits of information and the restriction that we couldn't write anything down...
Hrm... and I ran a 2130 lab, helped out some 2130 students for a bit, Ran with Wreck (7.5 miles in 57:55 -- painful but enlightening in that we hit the trails out in Piedmont Park, of which I hadn't been aware. They're really quite impressive, wooded, earthen trails more or less in the middle of downtown Atlanta), got some very sage running advice from Russell from RW (essentially "just grin and bear it -- tell yourself that you're going to keep up, then do it"), went to the LUG meeting and heard Strick tell us all about the history of networking and security and iptables, realized over again that Strick is The Man and a very valid role model (I may have to ramble about him at some point in the future -- his life seems like it's just about perfect), hacked some Squeak with Lisa and then rather a lot more on my own, spoke con mi hermanita y mi padre, talked with Alex M for a bit... generally, tonight was spent playing with Squeak, though. It's a fascinating thing on one end, and on the other, there's a quiz about it in the morning :) Perhaps when I'm more wakeful, I'll discuss this...
Ah, and somebody (one of my many, many readers), please remind me to drone on for a bit about the conversation I'd had with Ricky the maintenance guy about Christ and religion and prayer and Ca$h Money. I'm rather surprised I didn't think to write about that yesterday...
Okie, off to collapse. Hey, just one more day of school, then it's off to Tahoe. More importantly, just a few more seconds of consciousness, then I pass out :)
