I realize that I've been pretty well busy today, but it doesn't feel like I've managed to get much done. I have a feeling that a lot of the rest of the semester is going to feel like that. I did classes. I ran a 2130 lab.

I spoke with Jennifer the Agreeable and Attractive Academic Advisor, who confirmed that "D" does indeed stand for "Done" in Combinatorics (although hopefully it won't come to that) and suggested that since I probably won't get into the LCC class that I don't want to take, maybe I should think about taking the OS class (CS3210: Design of Operating Systems), considering how the AI class apparently isn't the most difficult thing there's ever been. She also laughed when she looked at my transcript and found out I hadn't taken Health yet.

Maybe they'll just drop that from the requirements before it's my turn to graduate... *laughs*

Our practicum team got together in the CoC to work on our project. We worked on it for a while. I ate dinner with Marty and May, and then the three of us went to LUG (although I busted off ahead towards the meeting, trying to leave them to walk alone together). I came back from the meeting and found Corey playing Ultimate with some friendly kids from some campus Christian group or another, hopped in that game for some small number of minutes, happily joined in their group prayer, then popped back to the room, where I've been hanging around and working on more 2335 (and looking at classes for Fall) since.

Where does all the time go? The space between, say, midnight and sunrise is really long, and can be massively productive, say when one's scrambling to get something done, due in the morning. The Relay for Life was just Really Long, even though I didn't get a lot done during that time, save weave through gaggles of Greeks.

Hrum... that loses semantic power, considering that I know at least one literally Greek person on campus...

Ah, and we got our apartment set up for Fall. Center Street South, room 011. We'll have to work this out, whether that's an octal 9 or a binary 3 -- but "The Oh-One-One" rolls off the tongue fairly nicely... so we may have to be the next "One One Eight", if that makes sense to anybody :)

Perhaps I should have some thoughts that don't directly pertain to classwork or Tech administrativa. Eh.

Ah! As of Tuesday, Esther and myself have been together for seven months! Yaaay! :)

... surely I had something else to say ...

Ah well... off to code and UML some more...
