So I just got back from Piedmont Park, where I was hangin' out and throwing disc with Marty ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
samarin and Chris V to take a break from working on stuff...
... and I saw two guys doing Capoeira on the hillside near where we were throwing. So I go up to them, ask if they're with a club, and they said "oh, we're not really capoeiristas, we're just playing around. But we think there's a club that meets in Little 5..." and very shortly thereafter, this young lady walks by, bloody well playing a berimbau... and I went up and asked her what was happening, and it turns out that she's with the club those guys mentioned!
So yes: for the summer, I've got a plan. And it involves being upside down and flipping-out-and-stabbing in a way that's perhaps a bit more my style than kung fu has been, as entertaining of a thing as that is. If any of youse guys happen to be in Atlanta and free on Monday/Thursday/Saturday evenings, then by all means, come with :) :)
