rheavatarin and I went out to the Little 5 Community Center to see the capoeira club do their thing. I'd gone with the idea that we'd start in on it tonight, but the instructor Joseph had us just watch, for the first one. We're planning on heading back Thursday, because it was Really Cool. This club does the Angola style of Capoeira, which is more relaxed and ... perhaps more ritual/culture/music-centric (I get the feeling that the other style, Regional, is more combative and perhaps more acrobatic?), but this'll be terribly entertaining. Bunch of friendly people doing a beautiful dance martial art thing, yay :)
That, and work. I've been working on stuff, if you can imagine.
