it's a low-content day. but then again, I'm a low-content kinda guy.

For today...

- lovely run in the forest: about 8 miles. We're working towards the half-marathon in February... this will definitely be workable, and perhaps even frisky :) Everybody loves the Gulf Winds Track Club. If there's a track club with character, it's them.

- grades are in: B in Compilers (no complaints there), A in everything else. This bumps up the ol' GPA, just slightly. *fairlypleased*

- Last night, I got to hang out with Garrett lomonthang and Brett zip4096 and we talked about all sorts of stuff and played with Brett's cool new (musical) keyboard and watched Master of the Flying Guillotine, which is likely one of the finest kung fu movies ever crafted. Interestingly, it almost certainly contains the inspiration for some characters from Street Fighter (Dhalsim) and Mortal Kombat (Raiden). Best of all, it was so good to get to see Garrett again, in that he'd been gone off to New York for months and months. But he seems cheerful :) And I hadn't seen Brett's new place yet. Yay for visiting with friends.

- We're making progress on the SMBM translation.
