"Thursday morning, I'm waking up..."
Mar. 24th, 2005 10:01 am- I'm back from Atlanta :) It was a lot of fun:
zip4096 and I drove and drove and drove, then showed up in Atlanta, found Whitney and Alan, watched some crazy cartoons (and a bizarre kung-fu film) and ate some tasty food, then drove and drove and drove back. And then I collapsed and slept :) Yay for sudden springbreak roadtrips!
- http://livingintown.com/ has a really nice site. Perhaps we should rent a place from them, O people who are going to live with me.
- From the BBC: apparently elephants can learn to imitate sounds, like those of passing trucks, or from other elephants (even elephants of other specieses: an African elephant learned to make Indian-elephant-style noises, according to the article).
- Elephants are cool. Some places listed on LivingInTown are marked "pet-friendly", meaning perhaps that we could keep some elephants? Do they have any at the Humane Society? (this would solve the "drive or walk or bike to Tech" problem)
