So I'm totally in Greece, posting on LJ. The island of Mikonos, to be more specific. Greek coffee is strong.
The buildings are white and adobe-ish and the sand is dark gray. The sea and the sky are very blue. Most everybody seems to speak English, which is at least very useful to me, because Greek is very much neither Germanic nor Romance. When we were in Italy, I found myself doing the interpreter thing, muddling through with an exciting Spanish-Italian pidgin...
Also: they have US-esque keyboards with magic greek glyphs on them, at least in this particular cybercafe.
Mm. See you kids pretty soon :)
Peace out, homeslices!
