Oct. 18th, 2006 10:29 amI had a pretty happenin' fall break :) I feel all refreshed now, ready to get to business.
On Friday, I slept and slept... there's been a lot of that going on. And Laura
laurapatt came by and we hung out Saturday evening. And we went to Athens on Sunday, and hung out there for a while. Yay for hanging out! :) And Saturday was the Laptop Battle Finals, which were pretty awesome, and Threv
threv was the Official Winner, but Graham
cola_fan was the party that rocked the party as he busted out with funky samples and the awesomeness of live-coding-music, which confounded and amazed all the judges. And many of the cool people were there.
On Tuesday evening, Brett
zip4096 and Cameron and Maggie went for tasty Flying Biscuit and then saw some cartoons at GSU -- we were the only ones that showed up to our screening, and we were a coupla minutes late, so Ashley, the girl running it, restarted the cartoons for us! After that, we popped back to our place and had milkshakes with The Martin
samarin. His milkshakes bring everybody to the house.
And Brett's being awesome and wonderful and putting in my resume and a recommendation at Google, and holy crap I'm submitting my degree petition today. The future is an adventure, but a summer internship probably never hurt anybody, whatever else I might choose...
Three interesting things: (one, two, three)
