- Live on on MSNBC commentator Keith Olbermann speaks about the Military Commissions Act -- he's more than a little worried, and he did some pretty good historical homework! But, I mean, the Geneva Conventions and English common law are pretty quaint. This was on pretty major television, yow! (also: The Onion on torture)

- Latin America buoyed by migrants' pay. From the BBC. Apparently, a third of the remittances go to Mexico, making it the country's second largest source of income after oil.
