Important question for this post: How can we make things that aren't Vonnegut novels read as smoothly Breakfast of Champions? Specifically: when we're writing academic papers about our new type-inferencers and phrase-aligners, how can people sit down and read them all in one go, and enjoy it the whole time?

OK. Got that out of the way. )

So Theatre a la Carte just (like, an hour ago) won the Southeastern Theatre Conference competition in Birmingham, with their production of Nine! You may recall when I wrote about the show earlier. But they've taken it on the road twice now, and won competitions both times!

My mother's a thespian.
