San Francisco!

I'm at Martin and Lauryn's place, in the heart of the Castro in SF. We're getting ready to head over to the conference.

I showed up late last night and took the BART to Martin's neighborhood, where he met me at the train station. I caught sight of his majestic, bearded visage about a hundred meters away and bounded on over, dragging my suitcase. It's so good to see him; it's been almost year!

SF is really interesting; also, full of bike hipsters.
