hooray, good news!
Jan. 11th, 2010 06:30 pmThe fans and dehumidifiers are gone.
You've got no idea how much more pleasant it is to live in a house that's relatively quiet, as opposed to a house where you have to shout to talk, and you tend to wear ear-plugs.
(we did spend two nights down the street at Bloomington's very finest Travelodge. And Mark and Christine came to visit.)
The house isn't repaired yet (the kitchen's still, as they say, All Tore Up), but at least now we can clean up the living room and basement in peace. And the kitties seem much less stressed out.
Oh! And apparently I have a job interview this week for my summer internship. Hopefully this will lead to further cheerful reports.
