Dec. 17th, 2013 01:10 amI... went out and bought a PS3 tonight, from the little game store down the street. I like the store and the people who work there a lot; everybody is super friendly! (this is replacing the playstation that, y'know, got stolen when our house was broken into)
It feels nice to be able to play videro games like I'd been used to, again. Stopping a gaming habit is a thing, but you don't want it forced on you! I picked up a copy of (the newer version of!) Street Fighter 4 at the shop, and we're downloading Tekken Tag 2, which apparently you can buy online!
While waiting for TTT2 to download, I spent a little bit of time on the free-to-play version, Tekken Revolution. It seems to be full of n00bs; I won like five straight matches, and most of them weren't even close. Although having not played for almost three weeks, I'm going to get torn up (more than normal) when I get back into TTT2.
I'm hoping (though it seems doubtful) that our cool costumes are stored in the cloud.
