- So over on penguinparens, I've been getting blog-comment-spam. Martin samarin suggests I install a captcha, so I was thinking of using KittenAuth (WARNING: SITE CONTAINS CUTE PICTURES OF KITTENS). But I think there's an even better solution that you probably won't notice, because it asks your browser to do md5 validation through javascript, so yay :)

Also: Yes. Please. Put ads for \/1@gra and "rape porn" on my programming blog. God damn you. Also, please vandalize the NYC Lisp Users Group wiki. What the hell is wrong with people?

- Almost done for the semester :) Just a couple more writeups. And ideas for fun summer projects abound, and Summer Of Code is looking tempting. Aforementioned LispNYC folks are one of the mentoring organizations...

While the Hashcash 3.0 BETA Lovebug Hunchpunch solution looks pretty neat, if it got very popular the spammers would just run javascript in their bots.

Just use the Akismet Wordpress plugin. Has worked great for me.
