I'm at home, back in Tallahassee :)

And my semester is finally over... it took so long to wrap up, but it's all done. And the interesting things, I'll keep on working on, and the unimportant things will be cast out and trodden under the feet of men, like salt what's lost its saltiness.

I've felt really stale, as a person, for a long time, but I think I can fix that. I have a lot of ideas for how to fix it, and now is the time to make some of these happen. So as a result, I'll probably be a less-sucky person :) That's sort of the point, right?

It might involve reading more; I think it will. Also better concentration and mindfulness, better routines, more frequent sanity checks. Am I doing the right thing? What am I thinking right now? Maybe I can be better about dreaming, if I cultivate the right habits. Lucid dreaming, I've heard, rocks pretty hard. Being a body that does that "mind" thing, it seems important to be well-acquainted with that mind thing that I keep doing.

I found a lot of pictures I'd taken a while ago, like from highschool and the first few years of Tech :)

Also: sleep is probably in order.

::pokes:: Be well, Alex. And, um, you haven't responded to my comments or been around for me to IM in a while, and if you're avoiding me, that's fine, but if not, would you like to chat sometime? A friend today was telling me about Parkour (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parkour), and it seemed like something you'd love. Links to videos on the bottom of the wiki.

You were in some of the pictures I found :)

And it's not a systematic avoiding people thing; I just haven't been on aim very much. Pardon about the comments, hrm...

(but I'm reading what you're writing, and I won't be upset even if you want to slash Superman/Batman and link in my general direction about it :) )

I haven't finished deciding whether Parkour is super-geeky or super-interesting. It may we be both. I love this video: Russian Climbing (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=515642196227308929&q=russian+climbing).

Also: thank'y kindly for the link :) I hadn't looked at that until just now...

So the "russian climbing" video over there, that's not so much Parkour as just gymnastics in an urban setting, yes? Or how do you feel about all of this?
