- Sex toys in Alabama: illegal! Vibrators are, very clearly, detrimental to the public. Morally reprehensible. Obscene. (via boingboing)
- Also: yet another round of interviews at Google, next week? They just don't stop! I think this might be the last interview trip, maybe? Just two sessions, though, and this time, it's right down the street at the Atlanta office, hooray! Maybe they'll have me over for lunch. They said that if they hire me, my first project is going to be with GWTK, which is pretty rockin'.
- Also also: zomg, I need to not ever sleep again. So much to do.

Date: 2007-02-16 01:45 pm (UTC)I wonder what sort of idea he might have, and whether he needs a company that super-gigantic to pull it off? Like, what could you hope to do with two guys in a dorm room that can't be done with some money and a few more programmers?

Date: 2007-02-16 12:55 pm (UTC)That's one of the more awesomer projects at Google. I know waaayyyy too much about Javascript browser quirks. If you ever want to know how to get back button support for Safari, I'll hook you up!

Date: 2007-02-16 01:50 pm (UTC)What I wonder: is taking the annoyance out of dealing with quirky browsers encouraging quirkiness in them? Or what can we do to make things more compatible in the long run?
Perhaps the answer is "get jobs at Microsoft, Apple, and Opera, then do stuff with Mozilla in our spare time"?
