Portland: where they put antidepressants in the beer!

I'm in Portland, woo!

This week, Lindsey lindseykuper and I are headed to OSCON for great softwares. I just met Paul stereotype441's new kitten buddy Marie last night, and she's adorable, sitting next to me on the couch while we listen to Lindsey play the piano.

A few days ago, back in Atlanta, we made some music with Rob poodleface -- he came over and we rocked pretty hard, despite the rocking-out equipment at my house.

Today we cycled over to the Grinnell alumni picnic in Laurelhurst Park. It's beautiful here. (oh, and we did the Atlanta one yesterday, which was in Piedmont. Did you notice the people with red shirts who looked like they went to college in Iowa?)

Laura Marz. She graduated in 2001....with a degree in English and was on the swim team.

Right on. I don't know her -- she would've been a senior when I was a first-year, and I didn't know all that many swimmers or English majors. I'm sure I know people who know her, though! It's a small school.
