growing up and coffee behaviors

We're getting to the point in our lives, Lindsey and I, where we're usually not willing to drink the leftover coffee from last night. This morning, I was going to drink it, but then she said "eh, let's just make another pot."
Maaan, I remember when I was an undergrad, sometimes I'd run two pots of water through the same batch of coffee grounds. The second pot is, of course, thin and gross! (and I'd drink it anyway, and I kept absurd hours when I was 20.)
Hrm. I guess, as they say, this is growing up.
Another, even more desirable aspect of growing up would be figuring out how to make myself get my stuff done during daylight hours instead of doing ridiculous late nights all the time. Still working on that one.

And I need to learn not to sit up at night reading about dumb Scheme foreign interface stuff.
