BIG NEWTONS

The packages that Fig Newtons and their more socially-conscious counterparts, Fig Newmans, come in, are way too small. As a family of three newton enthusiasts, we blow through a package really fast, like a day or two.

UNEXPLORED BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY: what if they came in packages of like 3x as many newtons?

Lindsey suggests they should be called "Big Newtons". I think it's a winner but we'll have to run it by some focus groups.

OK so my friend Seth had (has?) a little homemade poster on his wall, with a bit of a Fig Newtons wrapper and a bit of a Choco Leibniz wrapper, with the Q&A

Q: How to get a cookie named after you?

A: Invent the calculus!

and I figured you would appreciate that.

SEPARATELY:

I presume that a reason for the current package size is a mix of "how many do people generally want at a particular price" and "how many will a household generally eat before they go stale". SO, what if Big Newtons came in a dispensing mechanism with, like, a negative airflow unit or one of those mechanisms people use on wine to keep the air locked out?
