Little chunks of stuff...

Last night:
- I took down hackmode.org for maybe a half hour after 37 days of uptime to fiddle with some settings and pop in more RAM. Apparently during that time one of the users Immediately Noticed, wondered what was going on, and pestered Brett zip4096 to ask me what was going on... but by the time he was able to ask, hackmode was already back up -- in fact, he couldn't have asked earlier, because hackmode is my router.

- Soon and very soon, I'm'a going to have the sparcstation set up and probably do my emailing from it, because, you know, why not... maybe with Debian... (er, rather, Debian GNU/UltraLinux). I finally put this 10-gig scsi disk I'd had for a Long Time in it last night. This is going to be interesting, installing a different OS, because it has no cdrom, and I'm probably going to have to set up bootp to feed it a kernel in the first place.

- Kung Fu is still cool.

Today:
- I'm about to go lift with Ross and Christin and Tim

- Then it's laundry time

- ... and then I'm headed out to Lake Tahoe with the paternal unit. Wheeee! :)
