Minor observations
Feb. 19th, 2003 12:22 amA few moments ago, thinking that it might be nice to work on stuff while a laundry machine was replenishing my supply of clean clothes, I wandered out into the night wearing a wizard's cap (used to signify coding sessions) and a big green cloak (it's warm). I popped in to look at the laundry machines, of which there are six. Three of them are busted. Very nice. The other three are being used.
Ideally, whoever it is who's doing laundry will be nice and come and get their stuff when it's done. Otherwise, I might have to make a nice little pile of wet laundry. I'm almost out of socks :-\
I was just eating a bagel, and Zach comes in and asks "What sort of bagel is this?" It was a sesame bagel. He asked if he might buy one from me, which I thought was sort of an odd request -- I was perfectly willing to give a good friend a bagel. After some negotiation (rather, insisting on his part), I'm now up $1.25. Why $1.25 specifically? I have no idea. I've also explained that in the future, I'm not going to let him give me money for things like that...
