first morning of the semester...
Aug. 18th, 2003 09:36 amAll sorts of good stuff :)
I'm all moved in, and I like the apartment, and I'm super-pleased with having my own little space. There are currently five computers (and a vt220 serial terminal) in this room, and I expect pretty soon I'll get cirdan the sparcstation up and working again. Cimmy was here whilst I was arranging everything... she spent pretty much the whole weekend with us, which was excellent :) I'll likely write some more about this later...
You know what? ... it's not entirely the case that she collects postcards... in fact that was a fib :) This is possibly the funniest thing...
with the possible exception of Marty's new amputation business ("Robinson Amputation -- Walk In, Wheel Out!").
Things are looking good for this semester. I'm well pleased with the current situation, and I feel good (sane, healthy, confident...), and my friends are here, and we're going to put muscle back on Tim. So he can be Huge and so he can run fast again.
We went and ran last night, just around Ferst street and Techwood, like 23 minutes. That was lovely -- the hills seem less steep now.
That's probably a good metaphor for stuff in general. The hills seem less steep now.
... and now, off to go run errands and get in on some Hot CS3210 Action.
