Things you might not have considered
Mar. 8th, 2005 02:53 pm- There are pygmies in Burundi, although several hundred fewer of them now -- many are going to Rwanda. When was the last time you thought about pygmies ("Batwa") or Rwanda, or had even heard of Burundi? I'm not sure I knew there was such a place as Burundi. BBC article about this.
- The NHL players aren't playing -- it looks like they're cancelling this year's season, having to do negotiations with the league. When was the last time you thought about the NHL? samarin, I expect that your associates from the Frozen North have considered this.
- ... so many things to think about... hmm, like the physics test in three hours. Perhaps less interesting than pygmies or Homo floresiensis... er, which probably shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence so much. Because the Batwa are totally not a different species. (... but what if there are Floresiensises still out there... ?)
