"I'm still waiting..."
Aug. 24th, 2005 04:11 pm- We've had a phrase around the house recently, "going to the Internet". It's kinda like being "gone to Jesus", I suppose, only it involves walking to the CoC or stucen or someplace instead of kicking the bucket. Right. So right now I've gone to the Internet, and I've been trying to get this jlk kid to tell me about whether she's hiring me on as a research assistant or not -- and she still hasn't. It makes me a sad panda. Damnation. (although maybe it'll be free tuition for the alexr, maybe-hopefully. *growl* )
- Classes are still pretty awesome, on the upside :) Marty
samarin is going to develop super-powers as a result of my knowledge-systems class (we're not quite sure why -- but apparently one's friends usually get super-powers when one takes a class from that rwf character).
- Jacquie
fluffyevilbunny is totally getting a mention on the LJ. Hi Jacquie! :)
- After the revolution, XML will be replaced with balanced parentheses.
- Once hackmode is back up, we should put together a site for keeping interesting chunks of knowledge. Because a lot of you kids know cool things that I don't yet, and I want you to tell me about them. I mean, people are learning about things like cryptography and abnormal psychology and whatnot, and I haven't the foggiest about any of them, so maybe we could... hrm. Does this sound like an interesting thing to anybody? ... I suppose there's already wikibooks and everything2 and whatnot, but this seems like it could be something new and different.
